Job Description: The primary mission of the Saint Patrick Ministry Coordinator is serve as the bilingual hub of communication and coordination for various ministries throughout our parish.
As the staff member with the most hours, visibility, and presence at a small urban parish, the ministry coordinator plays an important central role and can wear many hats. Thus, responsibilities include welcoming and assisting visitors at the parish office during office hours, maintaining accurate parish records consistent with expectations/policies from the Diocese of Madison, maintaining and communicating ministry schedules, coordinating and recruiting volunteers, and overseeing communication within the parish.
Hours: 24-30 max hours/week; more hours negotiable
Ministry Scheduling and Coordination:
Qualities Needed: Fluent speech and writing in Spanish and English; familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Publisher; works well in teams and coordinating people; organized and demonstrates a strong work ethic.
Qualities Desired: Hospitable, clear communicator, self-starter, and the desire to learn new things.
Experience Needed: Office Administration or Parish Ministry Leadership role
Education: Bachelor's (Preferred)
